- On SamMobile, select your country/region from the dropdown (e.g. BTU for UK, INS for India).

Method 1: OTA Update EASIEST
If your device is officially receiving the stable One UI 8.5 update, this is the simplest and safest method.
Connect to Wi-Fi
Ensure you're on a stable Wi-Fi network. OTA packages are several gigabytes in size.
Open Software Update
Go to Settings → Software update → Download and install.
Check for Updates
Tap Check for updates. One UI 8.5 will appear if available for your device and region.
Download & Install
Tap Download, then once complete tap Install now. Your device restarts and applies the update.
Method 2: Join the Beta Program
Get One UI 8.5 weeks before stable release. Available in India, South Korea, USA, UK, Germany, and Poland for supported devices.
Requirements: SIM card inserted, Samsung Account signed in on device and Samsung Members app.
Open Samsung Members
Install/update Samsung Members from the Galaxy Store. Sign in with your Samsung account.
Find the Beta Banner
On the Discover tab, scroll down to find the One UI 8.5 Beta Program banner. Tap it.
Enroll Your Device
Tap Enroll. Read and accept the T&C. Wait a few minutes for verification.
Download the Beta
Go to Settings → Software update → Download and install. The One UI 8.5 Beta will appear. Download and install.
Restart & Enjoy
After installation, your phone restarts. First boot may take a few extra minutes. Welcome to One UI 8.5!
Stuck on "Processing Join Request"? Try signing out and back into your Samsung Account, or wait a few hours and try again.
Method 3: ADB Sideload (Manual)
Have the firmware downloaded from the links above? Install it manually using ADB Sideload — no unlocked bootloader required.
Advanced Users Only. Verify firmware matches your exact device model and CSC (region code) before flashing.
Prerequisites
- PC with ADB installed (Windows / Mac / Linux)
- Samsung USB Drivers (Windows only)
- Correct One UI 8.5
.zipfirmware for your model (download from links above) - At least 50% battery
- Original Samsung USB cable
Enable USB Debugging
Go to Settings → About phone → Software information, tap Build number 7 times. Then enable USB Debugging in Developer Options.
Connect & Verify
Connect via USB, tap Allow on your phone. In terminal run:
adb devices
Reboot to Sideload Mode
Run:
adb reboot sideload
Flash the Firmware
Replace the filename with your actual downloaded file:
adb sideload OneUI8.5_GalaxyS25_Firmware.zip
Wait & Reboot
Takes 10–20 minutes. Do not disconnect. Device reboots automatically when done.
Done! Verify at Settings → About phone → Software information. You should see One UI 8.5.
