  • Galaxy S25
  • Galaxy S25+
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra

Not available for Galaxy S25 Edge or S25 FE yet.

  • Germany
  • United States (USA)
  • United Kingdom (UK)
  • India
  • Poland

If your country is not in the list, you must wait for the final stable version (coming February 2026).

Important Things Before Starting

  1. Backup all your data (photos, messages, contacts) – use Samsung Cloud or Google Drive
  2. Keep at least 6 GB free space
  3. Use Wi-Fi only (download size is 4–5 GB)
  4. Phone battery should be above 50%

Easy Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open Samsung Members app (it is already on your phone)

Step 2: Join the Beta

  • Open Samsung Members app
  • You will see a big banner “One UI 8.5 Beta Program”
  • Tap the banner → Tap Join or Enroll
  • Accept the terms → Confirm
  • It will show “You have successfully joined”

(If it shows “Processing…”, just wait a few hours – this is normal)

Step 3: Download the update

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Software update
  • Tap Download and install
  • You will see “One UI 8.5 Beta” → Tap Download

Step 4: Install

  • After download is complete, tap Install now
  • Phone will restart 1 or 2 times
  • Wait 10–15 minutes
  • Done! Your phone is now running One UI 8.5 Beta

Settings → About phone Software information → You will see One UI version 8.5

Common Problems & Quick Fix

  • No beta banner? → Update Samsung Members app and restart phone
  • Download stops? → Use strong Wi-Fi and try again
  • Some camera modes missing? → They will return in the next beta
  • Phone slow or hot first day? → Normal, it becomes fast after 1–2 days

How to Leave the Beta (If You Don’t Want It)

  • Open Samsung Members → Beta banner
  • Tap Leave or Withdraw
  • Your phone will go back to normal updates
